Competitions

DCA is a competitive team. Each team competes approximately 3-4 times per season, with the season running from September to July. 


We enter our full team routines, as well as stunt groups and solos where possible. Our team routines are 2 and a half minutes long and comprise of acrobatic stunts, tumbles and dance, with the traditional cheerleading elements of motions and jumps. 


If a cheerleader enters into a competition we expect full commitment to all training sessions - cheerleading is a team sport and having one person missing from training effects the whole team - no member is more or less important than others!
